Folding Lunch Bag Water bottles and lunch bags. A more perfect pairing has never been…Oh, ok. That’s taking things a little far. But they DO play well together. Speaking of playing well, our staff tester recently discovered that our Folding Lunch Bag meshes really well with some water bottles on Bulletin Bottle, and she was so excited to share what she discovered!

Drawstring Backpack ComparisonCustom drawstring backpacks. Love ‘em or hate ‘em, they can be a pretty great addition to your branding project. They’re lightweight and super portable. In this staff review, we compare two of our most popular drawstring backpacks: The Classic Cinchpack and the Cinch Bag with Mesh Pocket.

Overall, both of these drawstring backpacks are pretty similar. After all, the nature of the bag is simplistic in design, and there’s not too much to expand on. Special Surfers: Summer Stoke for Special People

On the third Tuesday in June, July, and August, a huge group of amazing people from all over New England—and beyond–converge on Gooches Beach in Kennebunkport, Maine to share in a magical evening of surfing, support, and love with Special Surfers.

Special Surfers is a nonprofit that provides an opportunity for kids and young adults with special needs (emotional, mental, or physical) to surf in the summer.  There is no cost to participants or their families, and all equipment and instruction is provided.

Bulletin Brands staff member Jennifer Christensen has been participating in the event with her son, Jack, since 2012. Jack has Down syndrome, and Special Surfers is a highlight of his summer. While there are many people with Down syndrome surfing, there are literally hundreds of special surfers with many different types of disabilities that participate.  Continue reading →

Rags2Bags: Making Reusable Bags…and a Difference

Did you know that this month is celebrated as Plastic Free July? The campaign originated in Australia but is now a worldwide effort to encourage people to stop using disposable plastics. They say that it takes 30 days to make a new habit stick, so the hope is that by the end of the month, participants have made some shifts in thinking.

Frankly, if you’re reading our blogs, you likely already HAVE shifted your thinking, like the dozen women in Florida who came together and created Rags2Bags. The organization has made and distributed more than 2,000 reusable shopping bags throughout their community!  Continue reading →
