How does it work?
Your school (or nonprofit) sells “advertising space” on one side of the bag. If you sell 6 ads at $295 each, the cost to your school will be $0. That means your school keeps 100% of the profits on 500 great reusable bags!
What do the bags look like?
Your school's artwork will be printed on one side of the bag. Ads/logos are printed on the other (one color print on each side).
How much money can my school make?
The total cost for the program is $1770. This includes 500 bags with printing on both sides. Screen charges, art layout fees, program administration and shipping costs are all included. Each ad you sell reduces your cost by $295. For example:
Sell 1 ad spot ($295) – school pays $1475 – sell bags at $5 ea – total profit $1025
Sell 2 ad spots ($590) – school pays $1180 – sell bags at $5 ea – total profit $1320
Sell 3 ad spots ($885) – school pays $885 – sell bags at $5 ea – total profit $1615
Sell 4 ad spots ($1180) – school pays $590 – sell bags at $5 ea – total profit $1910
Sell 5 ad spots ($1475) – school pays $295 – sell bags at $5 ea – total profit $2205
Sell 6 ad spots ($1770) – school pays $0 – sell bags at $5 ea – total profit $2500
(Note: $5 is a suggested price, your school may decide to sell for more -or less - it's up to you!)
How do we get businesses to buy ad space?
We provide you with Advertiser Sell Sheets to explain the opportunity to local businesses. Remember, you are not asking for a donation! You are giving them an opportunity to build awareness and loyalty in the community. Local banks, insurance agencies, grocery stores, parents employers and school vendors are all great places to start.
Can a business purchase more than one ad?
Of course – and they’ll have twice as much print area!
How big is an ad spot?
Ads are 3”w x 2” h (one color). Logos work best because they have thick lines (small letters and fine details are not recommended).
Can my school receive more than 500 bags?
