PET: A Great Material for Recycled Shopping Bags
With increasing trends towards sustainability and conscious consumerism, there is a huge demand for reusable bags that are made responsibly. We get a lot of inquiries about recycled shopping bags, so we’re highlighting two popular bags that are made with recycled materials, like PET!
PET stands for polyethylene terephthalate. It’s a plastic resin and the most common type of polyester. You can find PET in many things, including food and drink containers. Staff Review: Therm-o Super Tote
Our Therm-o Super Tote is a popular bag for a lot of reasons, and today we’re going a highlight exactly why our Marketing Assistant, Ashley, loves this bag so much! The Therm-o Super Tote features a three-sided top that zips completely closed to keep contents hot or cold. This bag also can hold quite a bit because of that top zipper. It offers more carrying capacity that the original Therm-o Tote (even though it has the same dimesions), plus it has a front pocket. Staff Review: Mesh Produce Bag
Plastic bag bans have become extremely common in most places, making reusable grocery bags a necessity for us! Reusable bags are an amazing step towards living sustainably, and another step we take is by using reusable produce bags as well! Single-use plastic bags are wasteful and for a lot of produce, they’re unnecessary. Our Marketing Assistant, Ashley, tried out our Mesh Produce Bag for herself and found that they were extremely useful for a lower-waste grocery haul!
